Pavement surfaces with reduced noise emissions as well as sufficient water drainage and skid resistance are important requirements for environmental sustainability and road safety.

The quality assurance of these pavement properties requires the definition of the right needs-based parameters for the characteristics of the micro- and macrotexture and their monitoring.

Our texture probe IWS-TL with its high-resolution laser sensor measures the texture depth continuously in flowing traffic along a chosen test line with great precision.

The PC-controlled measurement system IWS-TL is easy to operate and can be integrated into every car, truck or construction vehicle.

Evaluation parameters:

• MPD (Mean Profile Depth) gemäß DIN EN ISO 13473-1:2004
• ETD (Estimated Texture Depth, vergleichbar MTD/ Sandfleck gemäß DIN EN 13036-1:2010)
